Cimarron is an unincorporated community in Harris County, Texas, United States. It is located at (29.7709000, -95.7583000), at an elevation of 125 ft (38 m).[1]

In 1975 the homeowner's association was incorporated and the first house was constructed. The home values remained stable through the oil bust and the late-2000s recession. The last house in the community was built in the early 1990s; the subdivision is now built out.[2]

Education

Cimarron is in the Katy Independent School District. Residents are zoned to Cimarron Elementary School, West Memorial Junior High School, and Katy High School.[2]

Parks and recreation

The subdivision maintains a recreation complex for its residents. The complex includes a clubhouse, a playground, a swimming pool, and tennis courts.[2]
