Bernhard ("Bernd") Kannenberg (born 20 August 1942) was a West German athlete competed in the 1972 Summer Olympics and in the 1976 Summer Olympics.

He was born in Königsberg, East Prussia.

Kannenberg competed for West Germany at the 1972 Summer Olympics held in Munich, Germany where he won the gold medal in the men's 50 kilometre walk event.
